Every child deserves to be the best they can be
provision at Prince William School. Rosewood will specialise in supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and/or Mental Health (SEMH), with Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) and anxiety. We work closely with the NHS and other external partners (eg Speech and Language, Educational Psychology and Occupational Health) both locally and nationally to ensure that we are well placed to serve our community and help our young people achieve.
Rosewood is an extension of the offer provided by East Midlands Academy Trust and supports our young people to flourish through a clinically led educational offer and admissions will be through the county admissions process (see below for more information).

This will be bespoke to the young person based on the National Curriculum and Pathway to Adulthood to ensure that opportunities for post-16 do not diminish. This can be mapped out as shown below:

Rosewood can support up to 48 young people. They will be admitted as part of different groups from September 2025.

To be considered for admission, prospective pupils must be:
Prospective pupils must not have a history of disruptive, aggressive or unsafe behaviours.
Prospective pupils are be referred to the EMAT inclusion team by the local authority only. The Special Admissions Panel will meet and explore the needs of the child and if needs can be met.
In most cases, our pupils will leave Rosewood when they have made strong progress towards their targets and demonstrated a readiness to learn and be a part of a mainstream community.
